Clinical Challenges with Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) Methods
Objectives: 1) Review medical eligibility criteria for contraceptive methods 2) Discuss the current length of effectiveness and extended use of LARCs 3) Discuss IUDs for emergency contraception 4) Discuss the management of side-effects of LARCs 5) Review technical pearls for LARC insertions and/or removals 6) Effectively manage IUD challenges, such as missing strings, stenotic cervical canal, embedment, IUD fracture, et cetera

Breast Cancer Screening in Primary Care
Objectives: 1) Assess risk of breast cancer for your individual patient 2) Review screening methods for breast cancer in average-risk women – when to start, how often, and which imaging modalities to use 3) Determine best screening methods for women with dense breasts 4) Determine best screening method for women with an increased risk for breast cancer – risk calculators, genetic testing, enhanced screening, and risk-reducing therapies 5) Review best management strategies for common breast complaints
