MDCalc’s Contributors author the content accompanying calcs, which provides guidance on When to Use, Pearls/Pitfalls, Why Use, Next Steps, and an Evidence Appraisal. Our Contributors tend to be academic physicians practicing clinically, typically earlier in their careers, who are passionate about EBM and interested in translating evidence into usable bedside tools.
We also consider fellows and senior residents going into academic medicine. Applications for Contributors are reviewed on a rolling basis. Contributors may also be invited to peer review other calculators in their specialty.
MDCalc is the most broadly used medical reference for clinical decision tools and content used by millions of medical professionals globally, including more than 65% of US physicians, every month.
