Mercor is hiring experienced Medical Practitioners (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab.
You will assess model outputs across diagnosis, clinical reasoning, and care workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate AI model outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with medical standards

Score diagnoses, case reasoning, and care recommendations against expert judgment

Write structured feedback on clarity, safety, and clinical rigor

Flag failure modes that compromise patient safety

Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to improve model performance
Ideal Qualifications
-
2+ years of clinical practice in the US
-
Practice across primary care, internal medicine, public health, hospital-based, or mental health specialties (Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Nephrology, Occupational Medicine, Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Psychiatry)

MD or DO from a reputable medical school

Sharp attention to detail and clear written communication

Located in the US, UK, or Canada.

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
