Medical Technology To Know
You may carry a 35-year old pager to work, but make no mistake - tech is coming for healthcare
Would you like to have your work published for thousands of your clinical colleagues to see? Read on to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
Modern MedEd accepts articles of interest to a general medical audience from outside authors. The content should serve a purpose and be useful to our audience of healthcare professionals. Authors should choose topics relevant to the site, including, but not limited to the following:
All submissions should be original work and not already published elsewhere. As the author, you retain the copyright and responsibility for ensuring your submission is free of plagiarized material.
However, by submitting your work to us, you are agreeing to allow us to make necessary editorial changes and to share and publish on other platforms (such as social media). Though we do promise not to change the substance of your message without your permission.
We publish work by other experts in the healthcare industry. Authors include physicians, PAs, NPs, RNs, PhDs, and other trustworthy professionals. Read a few articles to get a better idea of what we mean.
Authors should choose relevant topics such as medical writing and communications, non-clinical careers for healthcare professions, medical education, or their clinical experience. If you are not a clinician, this may not be the right place for you.
This is up to you. We care more about quality and strength of scientific evidence (if applicable). This is especially true of clinically-themed articles.
We’ll fix any simple errors or typos we notice, but it is up to the author to submit a final draft that has been reviewed for typos or errors. Works with glaring errors or omissions will not be accepted. Spammy requests will also not be accepted.
Due to the volume of requests, the approval process may take up to four weeks. We may not be able to respond to every submission, so those that we cannot accept at this time may regrettably not receive a response.
You can submit a photo or yourself or your website logo along with a brief biography. If you wish to remain anonymous, please let us know when you submit your work.
Use the form below to submit your idea. We’ll review it, and if it’s one we feel is a good fit, will contact you for further details.
Unless you are willing to apply and be considered for an advertiser agreement with us, the answer is a firm NO. Even so, sponsored links are tagged as such per our webmaster guidelines.
