Course Description
Dr. Omeed Saghafi discusses indications, limitations, relevant anatomy, and demonstrates three important bedside abdominal ultrasound exams. The gallbladder ultrasound exam and its use in bedside diagnosis of cholecystitis or cholelithiasis; the Aorta ultrasound exam and its use in AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm), and the genitourinary ultrasound exam with its use in hydronephrosis (from obstruction or kidney stones), bladder outlet obstruction, bladder volume measurement, and foley catheter placement are presented.
